Who is the controller of your data?
The controller of your personal data is Devikit LLC, with its registered office in Sheridan (30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA), EIN: 30-1484571. Contact: hi@devimu.com.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files. Browsers create them automatically when you visit and use websites. The site sends them and they are stored on your device. Data from a cookie can be read only by the site that created it, i.e. devimu.pl or devimu.com. The website cannot access cookies it did not create and was not given access to.
Cookies make the site easier to use, or help it adapt content to how you browse.
Why Devikit LLC uses cookies
Technical cookies (necessary)
They keep the site working: IP address, the location you arrived from, time on the page, the device you use, and the choices you make - so we can remember whether you accepted cookies. They do not need consent because they are required for the site to work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - the controller's legitimate interest).
Marketing cookies
For marketing we may use Google services, i.e. Google Ads, only after you give consent (Consent Mode v2). The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Analytics cookies
For analytics we may use Google services, i.e. Google Analytics, only after you give consent (Consent Mode v2). The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
How long cookies are stored
Session cookies stay on your device until you leave the site, for example by closing the browser. Persistent cookies stay until you delete them or until the time set in the browser runs out.
What data we collect
This includes: first name, email address, IP address, device type, operating system, time spent on the site, and actions taken.
Data you send through the contact form
If you contact us through the form on the site, we process the data you provide (first name, email, message, and - if you add them - company name and phone number) only to reply and to prepare an offer.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary, but we need it to reply.
We keep contact-form data for no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If the exchange leads to a contract, we keep the data for the duration of the collaboration and then for as long as tax and accounting law requires (as a rule 5 years, counted from the end of the year in which the last accounting document was issued).
Retention of other data
Data processed on the basis of consent (marketing and analytics cookies) is kept until you withdraw that consent. Data processed on the basis of legitimate interest is kept until you object successfully, and no longer than the limitation period for possible claims.
What data we share, and with whom
IP address, first name and email may be shared with the following categories of recipients, who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements:
- Google Ireland Limited - for Google Ads and Google Analytics (only after you give consent),
- the hosting provider - for keeping the website online,
- the email / mailing-system provider - for handling correspondence.
We do not sell your personal data to other parties and we do not use it for purposes other than those described in this policy.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
Because the controller is based in the USA, your personal data may be transferred to the United States. We provide an appropriate level of protection by using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, which keep processing in line with GDPR. You can request a copy of the safeguards by writing to hi@devimu.com.
Your rights
In connection with the processing of personal data you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- rectify (correct) your data,
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten"),
- restrict processing,
- data portability to another controller,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal - this applies to data processed on the basis of consent (e.g. marketing and analytics cookies),
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) if you believe the processing breaches GDPR.
To exercise these rights, write to hi@devimu.com.
How to give or withdraw cookie consent
On your first visit a banner lets you accept or refuse optional cookie categories (marketing, analytics) - both options are equally available. You can withdraw or change consent at any time by opening cookie settings on the site (the link is in the footer) or through your browser settings. Refusing cookies that the site needs to work may limit some features, but you can still use the site.
To demonstrate consent (Art. 7 GDPR) we store proof of the decision: a consent ID, the date, the selected categories, and a hashed IP address and browser. We keep this for no longer than 3 years.
Other information about processing
The data you provide is not used for automated decision-making, including profiling that produces legal effects. Questions about this policy: hi@devimu.com.
